The Russo-Balt brand reports that for the first time in the history of the automotive industry, the body of a commercial van will be made entirely of stainless steel. It is planned to use this technology to make the brand’s first car, the F20 model.
“Russo-Balt is a car for 100 years,” notes the press service of the Russian startup, which plans to revive the authoritative pre-revolutionary brand.
The Russo-Balt F20 electric van is planned to be produced according to the orders of specific customers. The starting price was previously announced – 6.5 million rubles.
Certification procedures for the model are ongoing. The van has a load capacity of 1000 kg and a category B driver’s license is sufficient to drive it.
The original cars under the Russo-Balt brand were produced between 1909 and 1918. The total production amounted to several hundred cars.
