Sales of Moskvich cars fell by 33% in 2025

In just 12 months of last year, Russians bought 15.6 thousand cars of the brand.

The Moskvich 3 crossover remains the absolute leader. Its share accounted for over 81% of total sales, or 12.7 thousand cars.

Second place went to the Moskvich 6 liftback, sold in 1.5 thousand copies (about 10% of the total result). The remaining 9% (1.4 thousand cars) are the total sales of the Moskvich 3e (electric car), Moskvich 8 and Moskvich 5 crossovers.

In December 2025, the Moskvich plant began production of new models of the brand – the M70 and M90 crossovers. The cars were created on a completely new platform and acquired their own emblem, stylized as a battlement of the Kremlin wall.

Earlier it was reported that within a week several brands had rewritten the price tags for new cars.
