Sales of new SDAC brand trucks start in Russia

SDAC has received Chassis Type Approval (CHT) for the new K12 medium-duty model. As Motor magazine has learned, the car is equipped with a 4.1 liter Weichai engine (190 hp, 680 Nm at 1300 rpm), which is paired with an 8-speed Fast Gear transmission. The basic configuration includes a power take-off (PTO) for connecting auxiliary equipment.

Comfort in the cabin is ensured by a large berth, air suspension for the driver’s seat, a standard media system, a rear view camera, air conditioning and a cruise control system.

The carrying capacity of the new product varies from 7940 to 8090 kg (depending on the wheelbase). Vans, garbage trucks, aerial platforms, tank trucks and other superstructures can be based on this chassis.

Commercial vehicle manufacturer SDAC (ShanDong Automobile Company) is part of the state-owned Weichai Holding Group Company Limited, which is primarily known for its internal combustion engines.
