In 2025, the Veles plant from the Ulyanovsk port economic zone decided to produce trucks under the new Uraman brand. These machines are a set of Chinese units: the cabin, engine and other components come directly from China. And now, as Motor magazine found out, the company has presented a new development.

Previously, the company made heavy chassis and tractors, and now it has presented a three-axle solution for urban and municipal vehicles. Its total weight is up to 30,000 kg.

The power unit can be Weichai diesel engines with a volume of 7, 10 or 12 liters. The transmission (mechanical or robotic) is supplied by FastGear.

An important nuance is the lifting, steerable rear axle. On the basis of this chassis, municipal equipment, garbage trucks, road vehicles, cranes, tow trucks and aerial platforms can be built.

Visually, the Russian-Chinese new product resembles MAN equipment of the old series. At the same time, it is stated that the bridges are made “based on MAN / Steyr technologies.”
