Sales of the Bolden S7 pickup truck with a diesel engine and all-wheel drive will be launched in Russia.

Sinotruk is entering the pickup truck segment with the Bolden S7, which will hit dealerships in the first half of this year. The S7, which debuted in China in the summer of 2024, will be offered with a Weichai diesel engine, derated from 190 to 177 horsepower, an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive with low range and locking. The Bolden S7 has a load capacity of up to 1050 kilograms.

Bolden S7 appeared in the list of models on the Russian website vgvmotor.ru. VGV is a brand owned by the Chinese truck manufacturer Sinotruk, and it is represented in our market by the U70Pro and U75Plus crossovers. From the announcement it follows that the S7 will be “a universal choice for those who value a combination of reliability, comfort and modern technology.”

The pickup has a frame design, a 177-horsepower diesel engine with a torque of 410 Nm, an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive with a differential lock and low gear.

The only equipment announced so far are all-round cameras with a “transparent” hood function and additional sound insulation. Bolden S7 prices and configurations for Russia will be announced closer to launch.

As for the other two VGV models mentioned, the U70Pro and U75Plus, they will go on sale in the fall of 2024. Both belong to the SUV-D segment, are equipped with three rows of seats and a classic automatic transmission. The younger one has a 1.5 turbo engine, the older one has a two-liter “four” with a capacity of 199 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. U70Pro costs from 2,299,900 to 2,749,900 rubles, and U75Plus from 2,949,900 to 3,149,900 rubles without discounts.
