The HAVAL MOTOR ManUFACTURING RUS, located in the Uzlovaya industrial park in the Tula region, produced 130 thousand cars in 2024 at the annual power of the plant of 150 thousand. With this indicator, the Tula automobile plant became the largest in the country after AvtoVAZ, which produced more than half a million cars in 12 months.

The first deputy governor, chairman of the regional government, Mikhail Panteleev, spoke about the results of the work of the Tula Automobile Plant and his further plans during the exit meeting of the Federation Council of the Federation on Economic Policy, held in Tula. According to Interfax with reference for the words of Panteleev, thanks to the HAVAL, the share of the automotive industry in the gross regional product increased in just three years from two to 12 percent.

In addition to the factory for the production of cars, from which the F7, Dargo and Jolion crossovers are currently leaving, HAVAL has an enterprise for the production of engines – it was commissioned in March 2024. The production of two types of engines in the full cycle mode is organized there, domestic assembly engines are installed by 90 percent of the HAVAL cars in Russia.

Currently, HAVAL is actively engaged in the construction of a cluster for the production of auto components, and from the future intends to build a center of research and development work.
