“Our new flagship model takes the brand’s values of space and practicality to a whole new level. From today, our bold vision for Skoda’s electric future has a name: Peaq – a clear indication of the model’s place in our portfolio,” said Martin Jan, member of the board of directors of the Czech brand.
Next season, the brand will present a production version of the Vision 7S concept car, which debuted four years ago. It will become the flagship of the “battery” line, having a seven-seater interior. Accordingly, the current Elroq, Enyaq, as well as the future Epiq will be more compact.
The preliminary cost has been announced, and it will be unusual for Skoda cars – more than 50 thousand dollars (3.9 million rubles). The company believes that the new product will be a rare offering, and therefore will strengthen the brand.
The serial embodiment of the Skoda Vision 7S will be built on the MEB platform of the Volkswagen Group. Externally, the product version will be almost identical to the concept from four years ago, which is designed according to the signature Modern Solid design language.
