Smart #5 debuted in Europe and was noticeably more expensive than in China

The largest Smart brand crossover was presented last summer in China, and sales in the local market started in the fall. Now the medium -sized electric alternate is preparing for the premiere in Europe. As it turned out, the same model will cost Europeans more expensive: the price starts with 45,900 euros (4.2 million rubles) against 245,000 yuan (2.8 million rubles) in China.

The largest crossover of the revived brand Smart is built on the Geely Sea platform, which it shares with Zeekr 7x. From the bumper to the bumper at Smart, there are 4.7 meters with a 2.9-meter wheelbase. In the trunk, up to 1530 liters of cargo fit, in front there is one more by 72 liters. More than 30 compartments for storing trifles are scattered across the cabin, in which a panel with two 13-inch screens and a 10.25-inch digital panel is installed.

There is a projection display with a diagonal of 25.6 inches, a backlight with 256 colors to choose from, heating the rear seats, a panoramic roof, up to 20 speakers of the audio system and much more. The list of electronic assistants includes Smart Pilot Assist and adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function.

In the “base”, the Smart #5 is equipped with a lithium-yellow-phosphate battery (LFP) with a capacity of 76 kilowatt hours. Starting with the Pro+version, all models are equipped with a lithium-nickel-Marganese-cobalt batter (NCM) per 100 kilowatt hours, providing a march of up to 590 kilometers, and 800-volt architecture-in the initial Smart #5 Pro, it is 400-volt.
