Sollers ST8 Pickup Russian assembly is ready for launch: Known prices

Sollers ST8 is leaving the conveyor in two versions. One of them with a 2.4 -liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 204 horsepower, the second with a two -liter diesel force, which develops 136 horsepower. Each of the modifications of two configurations, Optimum and Luxe, the difference in price is 100 thousand rubles. Details about equipment will appear closer to the launch, which is expected until the end of February.

As for the production of pickups, the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant, in addition to ST8, produces a full cycle and ST6. The ST6 and ST8 body are collected on the same conveyor as the UAZs, and the final assembly occurs on the new production line mounted specifically for Sollers models.

In the future, the pickup line will be replenished with a new model. This will probably be a hybrid, which will be taken as a basis for the Chinese Jac Hunter Phev.
