Station wagons are gaining popularity in China

Previously, station wagons were pushed out of the Chinese market by crossovers, which offer a higher driving position, which is convenient for driving around the city. In addition, such cars have greater ground clearance, which means they open up wide possibilities for their owner. But now the situation has begun to change.

The situation began to change with the advent of models using new energy sources, that is, hybrids and electric cars. Buyers of such cars have shown interest in the station wagon body type, which has a lower aerodynamic drag coefficient.

As a result, station wagons have better energy consumption, which increases the power reserve. As a result, in a short period of time, many companies released their “sheds” (as station wagons are sometimes called).

The list of such cars includes Zeekr 001, Zeekr 7 GT, Nio ET5 Touring, Stelato S9T, Avatr 06T and other models. The Lynk & Co 7 GT will soon join the listed five-door models.
