The design of Subaru SoLterra with the update has become “cleaner” and more modern. The main elements are a large deaf panel in front and a narrowed optics in the style of another novelty – the Trailseeker electric crossover. The wheel arches are now painted in the color of the body. Subaru notes that in the palette there will be two -color options for designing the exterior, but they were not shown in official pictures. Also among the innovations are wheel drives with a diameter of 18 or 20 inches and the Solterra inscription on the fifth door.

The salon is dominated by a new 14-inch touchscreen of the multimedia system that supports the wireless connections of the Apple Carplay and Android Auto. There were compartments for wireless charging gadgets. The list of electronic assistants from the Subaru Eyesight package has been expanded: the system of notification of cross -movement in front, monitoring of blind areas, notification of leaving the strip and others are included.

The “Technique” also received an upgrade: Solterra acquired a new lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 74.7 kilowatt hours and will be able to pass without recharging up to 459 kilometers-this is a quarter more than before. It is possible to charge a battery from 10 to 80 percent in less than 35 minutes when using a device with a capacity of 150 kilowatts.

Also, the crossover was provided with a system of preparation for charging in cold weather: the battery maintains the optimum temperature while the crossover goes to the EZS. By the way, Solterra can be charged at Tesla Supercharger stations.
