SWM promised not to leave Russia and announced the novelty

The Russian Office SHINERAY denied rumors about the departure of his “daughter” of SWM from the Russian Federation due to weak demand and debts. The brand that produces cars at the capacities of the Kaliningrad Autotor, remains and intends to strengthen positions in the budget segment. New items are also planned – the new G03F model and the G01F restyled flagship.

The G03F crossover is at the final stage of certification, said Vyacheslav Galuzinsky, General Director of Shineray Motors Rus. The launch of the model, also known as Big Tiger, was already delayed more than once: it was supposed to debut in 2024.

An all-around a length of 4.6 meters with a five- or seven-seater salon will take a niche between the G01 and G05 Pro. It is laid by a 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 110 horsepower and a five-speed “mechanics” or a hybrid installation based on the same unit with a 143-horsepower electric motor on the front axle. Both options were prepared for Russia. The new premiere term is May-June 2025.

In addition, in the near future, SWM promises to update the flagship model SWM G01F, which will receive a renewed interior and a new power unit.

Now in the brand line in Russia there are three models – the medium -sized crossovers G01, G01F and G05PRO. They have been collected on Autotor since 2023. Last year, SMW managed to sell only 1.7 thousand cars, and in February of 2025 the cars began to be sold with huge discounts reaching almost 900 thousand rubles.
