The Lunapark YouTube channel shared the detailed statistics of the refusal of the budget domestic car. The official partner of Yandex from St. Petersburg took a hundred sedans of 2024 release in a poor configuration. Over the year, each car traveled no more than 68 thousand kilometers, but the operating conditions of the Lada Granta were tough. There were enough malfunctions and breakdowns.
The largest problem is the refusal of the gearbox. In 90% of machines with runs over six thousand kilometers, the back speed first fails, and then all the others. The dealer replied that the drivers used the car without reading the instructions. It says that “the inclusion of the rear gear is made only on a fixed car, but not earlier than three seconds after the squeezing of the clutch.”
The taxiopark believes that such a rule was introduced due to a deterioration in the quality of the metal gearbox, because on other AvtoVAZ models almost the same “five-stroke” works without complaints. The examination showed that the breakdown of the Lunapark machines is not a warranty case. After the repair, the problem with the transmission has gone.

Another mass defect is a breakdown of the throttle of the thrill by half of the cars to a run of 10 thousand kilometers. Check Engine lights up, the reactions to the accelerator pedal slow down. The dealer complained of poor fuel and “sentenced” the replacement of candles, wires and cleaning the nozzles. This did not solve the problem and it turned out that one clove lacks in the throttle.
For 30 thousand kilometers, timing belts began to break. The dealer said that the guarantee depends on the label of the belt installed at the factory: on one manufacturer – up to 30 thousand kilometers, from another – up to 60 thousand kilometers. All the breakdowns of the taxi park were unarmed, and as a result, the belts began to be changed preventively at 29 thousand kilometers.
The main brake cylinder failed to 15 thousand kilometers in 30% of the machines, in 80% of the machines there is a floating defect in the ABS sensor: the steering amplifier disappears, the speedometer begins to buggy. Replacing the ABS sensor does not solve the problem, but you can restart the system by throwing the terminal from the battery.
5-10% of the machines had problems with the refusal of the starter and the breakdown of the wires of the electric lifter, in 20% of sedans the left drive checked. At 20 thousand kilometers, the front brake pads had to be changed, and 30 thousand kilometers had to be hub bearings and clutch. For new details, the resource turned out to be much more. Nevertheless, Lunapark will continue to buy Lada Granta, because for a million rubles another new car cannot be bought.
