Tests of the three-axle “Hyperbus” from the Volgabus brand have started in Russia

The Mostransavto company launched the three-axle Volgabus-627 001 with a length of 14.5 meters. The new product is equipped with a Russian diesel engine from the Yaroslavl Motor Plant. A particularly large class bus, which the manufacturer calls “Hyperbus,” will operate on route No. 30 “Domodedovo Airport – Domodedovo Station.”

From 2001 to 2007, the 6270 model was produced on the Swedish Scania chassis, but then Volgabus engineers (then called Volzhanin) created their own chassis by ordering components from foreign suppliers.

In 2012, the project was closed, and in 2025, the old index 6270 received a new generation machine. The first public was shown a gas version equipped with a Chinese Weichai engine, but now a diesel version has appeared.

Carriers should be attracted by 55 seats – this is a record among urban and suburban models on the Russian market. To ensure proper maneuverability, the design uses a rotating third axis
