The development of a unified modular architecture will cost 160 billion rubles, which will be allocated in the next five years. A key role in the development will be played by FSUE NAMI, which will be assisted by AvtoVAZ, GAZ and KamAZ.
On the domestic platform it will be possible to create cars of classes C, E and D. These can be cars with only internal combustion engines, as well as hybrids and “pure” electric cars.
