As part of a joint project of the company “TPK MTZ-Tatarstan” and the Russian State Agrarian University – Timiryazev Moscow Agricultural University, a hybrid diesel-electric tractor was created on the basis of the serial Belarus 82.1. The power of the 4-cylinder new product is 136 hp, which is equivalent to the performance of 6-cylinder cars.
The hybrid novelty should be of interest to owners of greenhouses and livestock farms, where increased requirements are imposed regarding noise levels and emissions.
It is clarified that the tractor is made according to a parallel hybrid scheme, and therefore can move on diesel, electric or mixed traction of two engines.
The new Belarus 82.1 hybrid can be easily distinguished from standard diesel cars by the large metal box installed in front of the radiator grille.
