The cargo-passenger “Shuttle” based on the VAZ-2113 went on sale

A rare modification of the VAZ-1706 “Shuttle” van is for sale in Moscow. Such cars were made in small series by the Pilot Industrial Production of AvtoVAZ, as well as by several third-party companies. In most examples, the cabin is separated by a rigid partition, but this car has a single-volume interior with a second row of seats.

For the 2003 car, the owner plans to earn 290 thousand rubles, noting that the van has undergone a complete restoration procedure. It is also clarified that the rear sofa is an element of factory equipment, and therefore completely legal.

The car is equipped with a 1.5-liter injection engine producing 69 hp. The declared mileage after engine overhaul is 50 thousand km.

The VAZ-1706 “Shuttle” was initially based on the VAZ-2108 chassis, but the latest examples had the body tail and front panel from the more modern VAZ-2113.

The main feature of the model is the fiberglass cap covering the back. The authors of the project also provided an original design for the glazed rear door.
