The characteristics of the Haval H7 hybrid, which will be assembled in Russia, have been revealed

The Chinese Cars portal found out that the H7 crossover promised to the Russians received Vehicle Type Approval. In the OTTS, the place of production is indicated at the Haveil Motor Rus plant in the Tula region. The H7 will be the first hybrid model to be registered near Tula: crossovers equipped with a one and a half liter internal combustion engine and two electric motors will roll off the assembly line. However, the Haval H7 will also have a regular petrol version.

The Haval H7, also known as DaGou/Big Dog in its native China, is a 4.7-meter-long mid-size crossover with a monocoque body and basic front-wheel drive. It has a Dargo-inspired exterior design and two screens in the interior.

The gasoline version of the model is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine producing 199 horsepower, and the hybrid is driven by a unit based on a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine. The latter can operate in both parallel and sequential mode, consuming “according to the passport” 1.8 liters per 100 kilometers.

Previously, the H7 was announced on the official website of Haval in Russia: the new product will join the line with the designation Pro, which already includes the H3, H5 and H9. In addition to our country, the H7 is also announced for the South African market, also in petrol and hybrid versions.

As for the Haweil Motor Manufacturing Rus plant, it recently unloaded it, including in order to free up capacity for the new model. But the production of the M6 ​​crossover was moved to the former PSMA Rus site in the Kaluga region. There, the Haval M6 will join the Citroen C5 Aircross crossover.
