The Chinese brand Haima has completed sales of its cars in Russia

As the publication “Chinese Cars” found out, citing data from “Autostat Info”, in March 2026, the brand did not sell a single car in the country.

The absence of 8S crossovers and 7X minivans in car dealerships was confirmed by several former Haima dealers, the channel reports. The corresponding section on the brand’s official website has been unavailable for a long time. On popular classified sites you can find only one or three advertisements for the sale of new cars – and this despite the fact that the brand has not yet announced its official departure.

Haima tried to conquer Russia twice. The brand first entered the Russian market in 2011, even organizing the assembly of cars at the Derways plant in Cherkessk. However, in five years (from 2011 to 2016), Russians bought just over 5,200 Haima cars, after which the company left.

The brand received a second chance at the end of 2023, offering customers two models: the 4.8-meter 7X compact van and the 8S crossover the size of a Toyota RAV4. Both cars were equipped with a 195-horsepower 1.6-liter turbo engine and a classic automatic transmission.

In the fall of 2025, the brand’s presence in Russia decreased by 49%, and by March 2026, sales came to naught.
