According to experts, the brand from the Middle Kingdom stopped marketing activity back in the middle of last year. In addition, the company filed a lawsuit in the court in the amount of 90 million rubles. SWM is already trying to free his Russian warehouses from cars, announcing unprecedented discounts up to 34 percent of the entire lineup. At the same time, Avtotor reports that they continue to produce cars of the Chinese brand and even plan to launch the production of new cars.

Experts believe that SWM has chosen the wrong dumping strategy, since Russian buyers carefully study offers from China, paying close attention to the quality of the car. In addition, the domestic market is already oversaturated with brands from the Middle Kingdom. In addition, SWM owed 88.6 million rubles to the Russian advertising agency.

SWM brand cars began to be assembled on Autotor in the spring of 2023. Then three crossovers stood on the conveyor at once: G01, G01F and G05 Pro. Over the past year, the company sold 1738 cars in Russia. On the eve of the brand, it was a record reduced prices for her lineup. For example, the most affordable SWM G01 model fell into 626 thousand rubles immediately. Now the city crossover can be bought for 1.78 million rubles. SWM G01F dropped from 458 to 764 thousand rubles and is now available for at least 1.67 million rubles.
