The Kama company (which develops the Atom electric car) told Motor magazine that the launch of a new car model on the market, especially in the commercial segment, naturally raises questions from potential customers.
“For the taxi industry, reliability, predictable costs and economic efficiency are key. That is why we carefully analyze the incoming feedback,” Motor clarified in the Atom press service when asked about criticism of the electric car from taxi drivers.
Prior to this, Andrei Belov, a member of the Public Council for Taxi Development in the Northwestern Federal District, in a conversation with a Motor magazine correspondent, expressed his opinion regarding the prospects for the appearance of the Atom battery hatchback in their business. In particular, he pointed out the weaknesses of the model, which, in his opinion, are already obvious.
Nevertheless, the Atom startup promises to consider feedback from potential customers as the basis for further improvement of the product, as well as to quickly respond to current market demands.
“Our task is not just to bring an electric car to the market, but to ensure that it meets the real needs of customers at all stages of operation,” the authors of the project promised.
