The distributor of the Chinese Jetta stopped supporting the site and "hotline" in the Russian Federation

The official Russian domain of Jetta (Chinese joint venture between Volkswagen and FAW), located at www. jetta-motor. ru, has ceased to be supported, it is not available for viewing from any browser, Motor magazine noted. The site has been down for the past few days. In addition, the auto company’s call center stopped serving Russian customers who bought Jetta cars.

Calls to the “hotline” are dropped, and under the telephone number previously assigned to the Jetta representative office, a new legal entity, Elite Granit LLC, is already listed.

FAW Eastern Europe told Motor that the Jetta brand remains on the Russian market.

“Jetta vehicles are still available for purchase and service at dealers,” the company noted.

The representative office left the question regarding site support unanswered. According to the web.archive service. org, the Jetta website was last updated on September 6, 2025. In the first 3 months of 2026, there was no activity on the portal.

Sales of Jetta cars began in Russia in 2024. However, a scandal broke out almost immediately. The German publication Die Zeit sent a request to Volkswagen headquarters, doubting that deliveries of cars from the Chinese plant could begin without the knowledge of the auto giant. The press started talking about a possible violation of sanctions and the “secret return” of Volkswagen to Russia.

It was then, in mid-July 2024, that the official Jetta website temporarily went down.

Previously, servicemen told which spare parts will rise in price the most in 2026.
