The Jetta brand does not plan to launch new models in the Russian Federation

In 2026, the Jetta brand will focus its main efforts on supporting the current model range in Russia, and not on launching new models. This was announced by a representative of the brand in the Russian Federation in a conversation with Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

Three Jetta models are officially sold on the Russian market: the VA3 sedan (from RUB 1,928,000), the VS5 crossover (from RUB 2,700,000) and the flagship VS7 SUV (from RUB 3,067,000). At the same time, current prices for the VA3 sedan are currently not available on the brand’s official website.

The Jetta brand was created in 2019 jointly by the Volkswagen concern and the Chinese company FAW. According to ROAD, in 2025, 1,629 cars of this brand were sold in Russia.

Previously, Motor named 7 problems with Lixiang hybrids that customers from the Russian Federation encountered. Lixiang (Li Auto) is a Chinese premium sequential hybrid (EREV) brand whose name translates to “Ideal Vehicle”. However, for our conditions, the “Lisyans” turned out to be, to put it mildly, imperfect. The editors of Motor magazine interviewed several owners of Lixiang and auto repair shops, and it turned out that these cars have a number of problems that came to light this winter.

Earlier, cars of the new controversial Zubr brand were noticed in Minsk.
