He is confident in the interest of Western, Japanese and Korean brands in returning to Russia. According to Andersson, auto -brands will resume work in Russia, but it is difficult to predict the terms of their return. “But the way they return to the Russian automobile market and in what form it will happen is difficult to predict,” he added. Those companies that nevertheless ignore the possibility of doing business in the Russian Federation or will be absent for too long, “lose their positions, losing their more quick competitors,” and not only in the Russian market, but also on the world.

The former head of AvtoVAZ also shared his opinion regarding the automotive industry of the Russian Federation as a whole.
