The FAW Bestune company is going to sell electric cars from China in Russia

The press service of the Russian representative office of the Chinese brand shared plans to launch new FAW Bestune models with Motor magazine. The auto company clarified that we are talking about electric cars.

“This year we expect localized Bestune T90, B70 and updated T77 cars,” the press service reported. “We are also closely monitoring the brand’s global innovations and are considering the possibility of introducing models from the Bestune NEV line to the local market.”

Currently, the brand sells only cars with internal combustion engines on the Russian market.

The Bestune NEV (New Energy Vehicle) line of vehicles includes electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs). In China, it is represented by several models, including compact sedans and crossovers. FAW Bestune did not specify which electrical innovations might appear in Russia.

The statement made clearly indicates that Bestune sees the potential of the Russian market for environmentally friendly transport and is preparing to compete in this segment.

Earlier in Russia, sales of cheap electric vehicles Eonyx Profi began.
