The FAW concern has patented the Joyee automobile brand in Russia

An application for registration of intellectual rights to the Joyee brand has appeared in the database of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property. Motor magazine drew attention to the fact that the application appeared.

Joyee is a separate line of budget electrified cars sold by FAW Bestune dealers. In China, instead of Joyee, the local brand Yueyi is used.

The current range of models includes the compact electric crossover Joyee 03 and the compact hybrid crossover Joyee 07, which will soon be joined by the mid-size liftback 08.

It is worth clarifying that registering a brand through the Federal Service for Intellectual Property does not mean that the company plans to introduce cars to the Russian market. The applicant was the China FAV Group company.

Previously, the Russian press service of Bestune (part of FAW) has repeatedly shared news about the Joyeei brand. It was not directly reported that Joyee might appear in Russia, but such rumors circulated.

At the same time, the Autostat agency reported that two models are being considered for launch on the Russian market: the all-electric Joyee 03 and the hybrid Joyee 07.
