The model, developed by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture, is a mid-size family crossover that combines the features of an SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) and a minivan. The official premiere of the car will take place at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24, 2026, Carnewschina reports.

Judging by the official images, the crossover received a short hood, sloping pillars, sculpted fenders, small overhangs and a slightly curved roofline to improve aerodynamics. The crossover is expected to have a three-row 2+2+2 seating arrangement.
The main technical feature of the new product is the CEA electronic architecture, developed jointly by Volkswagen and Xpeng. It reduces the number of electronic control units by 30% and supports artificial intelligence systems, driver assistance functions adapted for China, as well as over-the-air (OTA) updates.
