Previously, there were no pickups in the model line of Deepal, but now it appeared, and not in China, but in Thailand – the Hunter K50 model was presented there. It may seem familiar to the Russians because this is one of the versions of the Changan Hunter Plus, represented in our market. But the Hunter K50 has a hybrid power plant, and its composition has a diesel engine. In Thailand, the novelty was estimated at 1,099,000 baht, which is equivalent to 2.7 million rubles.

Outwardly, the Hunter K50 hybrid differs from the Hunter Plus not only by logos, but also with a new radiator grill – it is frameless, and the pattern is made up of UNI rectangles diverging from the center. The salon is the same as that of a gasoline pickup, there are no differences in profile.

The Hunter K50 is a sequential hybrid, which includes a two -liter turbodiesel with a capacity of 184 horsepower, acting as a generator and not directly related to the wheels. In the movement of the pickup, two electric motors with a total capacity of 272 horsepower are given, which provide it with acceleration from a place of up to 100 kilometers per hour in 7.9 seconds and a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour.

The fuel consumption in the mixed cycle – 1.3 liters per 100 kilometers declared by the automaker. The battery with a capacity of 31.18 kilowatt-hour allows the K50 to drive 131 kilometers on clean electricity, and the total supply of drive reaches 900 kilometers.

The model is already available for purchase in Thailand, but for markets of other countries it has not yet been confirmed.

Meanwhile, Deepal is preparing to launch in Russia, its interests will be represented by the maternal Changan. During 2025, the S07 crossover with a sequential hybrid installation will go on sale, followed by the “younger” SUV S05, which exists both in hybrid and electrical version.
