The first stage of the St. Petersburg Drift Cup took place at Igora Drive

On May 9 and 10, the 2026 summer drift season began at the circuit. The St. Petersburg Cup brought together drifters from St. Petersburg, as well as the Leningrad, Arkhangelsk, Murmansk regions and the Republic of Karelia.

The current winner of the St. Petersburg Drift Cup, Alexander Mezentsev, is not competing this season – the champion is concentrating on coaching.

As a result, St. Petersburg resident Anatoly Kizin on a BMW E92 and drifter from Murmansk Artyom Kanevsky on a BMW 3-series E30 met in the final. Kizin was stronger on his home track.

The race for third place was a confrontation between two drifters from St. Petersburg: Elisey Nikitin in a Toyota Altezza and Vladislav Vtorushin in a BMW E30. The first one won.

In the team standings, ISKRA Racing is the leader (353 points), and the team “There are questions” (350 points) is behind the leaders by three points. The third position is held by the ContinentPak team (179 points).
