The Haval H7 crossover will receive a new engine in Russia

The power of the turbocharged gasoline power unit will be 231 hp. In addition, the new motor is more environmentally friendly. The cost of the updated Haval H7 has not yet been disclosed, as well as the start of sales.

“One of the key changes to the model was the new 2.0 turbocharged petrol engine, whose power increased from 192 to 231 hp. The environmental class has been increased from Euro-5 to Euro-6. “Additional digital capabilities have also been introduced into the crossover,” notes the Haval press service.

The VK Video service will be introduced into the H7 media system for Russia, and it will also receive greater opportunities for individual configuration. A compact USB Type-C has been added to the full-size USB connectors for connecting gadgets.

Before the update, it developed 192 hp. and 320 Nm, corresponding to the Euro-5 environmental class. The 2026 model year crossover is equipped with an upgraded engine. Its output increased to 231 hp, and torque – to 380 Nm. With a modernized 231 hp engine. and a torque of 380 Nm, the Haval H7 has become the most powerful crossover in the brand’s lineup on the Russian market.

As before, the engine is coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch robotic gearbox; the crossover has full drive.
