The large Chery Arrizo 8 sedan will be offered in Kazakhstan at the price of a “state employee”

Sales of Chery Arrizo 8 sedans of the 2026 model year have started in Kazakhstan, Gazeta.Ru reports. The model can be considered a classmate of the Toyota Camry. A 150-horsepower 1.6-liter and a 197-horsepower 2.0-liter variant will go on sale. In the first case, the torque is transmitted by a 7-speed robot, and in the second by an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The cost of the new item, as the publication found out, will be 9.7 million tenge, that is, 1.5 million rubles. In China, the cost of the basic version of Chery Arrizo 8 is 103 thousand yuan (1.1 million rubles). In Russia, the pre-restyling modification is available to buyers for 2.8 million rubles.

Before this, it became known that the second generation Nissan Qashqai will officially enter the Kazakhstan market. Crossovers are planned to be supplied from China, where the old Qashqai is still sold under the name Nissan Qashqai Glory.
