The final version of the document is at the final stage of approval and will be published in the coming weeks. This was stated by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov, answering questions from journalists on the sidelines of the exhibition “Innoprom. Saudi Arabia”.
“Soon. It has already been prepared, we have agreed on the approach with Denis Valentinovich (Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister – ed.). I think it’s a matter of the next few weeks,” Alikhanov answered the question of when a full list of localized taxi vehicles will appear.
The department has been working on the final document for a long time. Let us recall that in October 2025, the ministry published a primary list, which included more than 20 models from six Russian auto brands. However, as Deputy Minister Albert Karimov previously explained, this list was subject to further expansion and clarification as the localization of production of individual models deepened.
It is expected that the final version of the list, which will become the main guideline for taxi companies, will be compiled and updated closer to March 1, 2026.
