The most classic sedan: a new generation Audi Audi debuted

This is a global model that with a change of generation has preserved the form factor of the usual four-door sedan. The Audi A6 joined the previously presented universal Avant – both of them were transformed in the same style, acquired an optional third screen in the cabin, and power plants for them are offered exclusively hybrid ones.

The Audi A6 Sedan is a business class sedan 4990 millimeters long (+60 mm compared to its predecessor) and a wheelbase of 2927 millimeters, which competes with the BMW 5 series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Aerodynamic resistance coefficient is given, which in the novelty is 0.23 versus 0.25 in the A6 Avant station wagon. The exterior design was transformed in the same way as in the five-door-for example, the rear lights with a continuous LED strip appeared, movable damper in the front bumper, an antenna-coat on the roof and recessed door handles.

In the cabin, two screens are installed in the basic configuration – a digital device with a diagonal of 11.9 inches and a multimedia at 14.5 inches. In more expensive versions, there is a third display for the passenger in front, its diagonal is 10.9 inches. The size of the wheels – from 18 to 21 inches.

The A6 AVANT universal sedan is based on the PPC (Premium Platform Combustion) platform, respectively, the power plants of the four -door got hybrid – the same as in the five -door model. The basic TFSI TFSI turbo engine develops 204 horsepower and works in tandem with a 12-volt starter-generator. Diesel 2.0 TDI is supplemented by a 48-volt starter-generator (24 forces) with a recovery function.

Finally, the top three -liter gasoline engine V6, working with the MHEV Plus system, gives out 367 forces. In all three cases, the gearbox is a non-alternative seven-speed “robot” S-Tronic with two clutches, the front or complete drive. Adaptive air suspension, a self -blocking rear differential and a full -controlled chassis are available for the surcharge.

Prices have already been announced: the new Audi A6 sedan costs in Germany from 55.5 thousand euros, which is equivalent to 5.17 million rubles at the current rate.

Currently, Audi produces two A6 families at once-in addition to fuel sedan and station wagon, there are fully electric liftbacks and a station wagon on the PPE platform, which are called the Audi A6 E-Tron.
