The most popular foreign car brand in Russia has been named

In 2024, the leader in the foreign car market changed – for the first time it became the Chinese Haval. Over the year, the company sold 190,624 new passenger cars in Russia, Autostat analysts calculated. This allowed it to take first place and beat the previous favorite – Chery, whose sales volume over the past year amounted to 157,040 cars.

Another Chinese brand, Geely, remained in third place. In 2024, it managed to sell 149,118 cars in Russia. Changan was fourth with a result of 106,105 cars.

Next in the ranking of leading foreign cars is Omoda, which entered the top five for the first time. It sold 49,533 cars over the year, displacing another Chery subsidiary, Exeed, with 40,878 units sold.
