In April, the discount increased to 730 thousand rubles, which is 21 percent of the full cost of the car, calculated in Avito Auto. Against the background of reduction in car market with large discounts, Russian cars were also offered. But the average amount that could be saved is still less – 330 thousand rubles, or 19 percent of the price.

In general, cars from China in April became more affordable by 2.7 percent, and from Russia – by one percent. Other foreign cars, on the contrary, have risen in price. Cars from South Korea, Japan and the United States added seven percent, to the average 6.85 million rubles.

The number of ads for the sale of new machines against the background of market reduction is increasing. In April, they were 12.8 percent less than in January. Most often they sell Lada, Geely, Chery, Haval and Changan.

In January and February, less than 60 thousand Chinese cars were brought into the country, which is almost half as much as a year ago. Mexico and the UAE, for comparison, accepted 86 and 71 thousand cars from the PRC, respectively.
