Lepas L8, an all -round 4.69 meters long with a wheelbase 2.8 meters, will be offered in three modifications. The model in gasoline and benzoelectric versions is equipped with in -line “turbo -face” with a volume of 2.0 liters. The stroke of the hybrid will be more than 1300 kilometers, and fuel consumption is declared at the level of 4.5 liters per 100 kilometers. A fully electric version is able to drive on one charge of batteries up to 700 kilometers and supports fast charging.
Previously, the assumption was announced that the model was taken as the basis of Lepas L8, known as Tiggo 9 (Tiggo 8L in China) in Russia. In the new official pictures, you can consider atypical for the CHRU CARSTERE ATERITER with a vertically oriented screen of a multimedia system with a diagonal of 13.2 inches. The system operates on the Snapdragon 8155 processor from Qualcomm and supports voice control based on artificial intelligence. The design of the cabin due to a vertical tablet resembles the Jaecoo J7.

LEPAS L8 sales start is scheduled for December 2025. In total, five models will include Lepas model line, and the brand itself is focused on export, in particular, to developing markets: Southeast Asia, the Middle East and South America. The LEPAS trading sign is also registered in Russia.
“Lepas is aimed at 2027 to form a world dealer network of 1.2 thousand centers and reach an annual production and sales volume of more than 500 thousand cars,” the CHERY statement said.
