At the “Emergency Medical Care – 2026” congress, a medical service vehicle based on the SKM M7, as well as ambulances based on the Lada Granta and SKM M9, will be presented to the attention of doctors. This was reported by the VK-public “AT THE FACTORY”.
The release of the front-wheel drive SKM M9 model is being prepared by AvtoVAZ and the Nizhny Novgorod company Promtekh. The start of sales of the Russian-assembled model is scheduled for September this year.
Under the hood of all modifications there will be a 2.0-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 150 hp. Transmissions – a choice of 9-speed automatic or 6-speed manual.
SKM M7 vans and minivans are produced directly by AvtoVAZ. Both versions have a rear-wheel drive layout and are equipped with a 2-liter naturally aspirated engine producing 136 hp.
There is only one gearbox – a classic 5-speed manual. The recommended retail price of the most affordable option is 2.9 million rubles.
The basic package includes air conditioning, front airbags, stability control, rear disc brakes, parking sensors and a rear view camera.
Let us add that the basis of the Russian ambulance fleet today are the Gazelle family vehicles, and in the regions the UAZ Bukhanki.
