The premiere has begun: a photo of the Russo-Balt minibus has appeared

An image of a 12-seater modification of a Russo-Balt minibus was obtained by Motor magazine. As can be judged by the appearance of the computer prototype, the minibus will be significantly shorter than the previously presented Russo-Balt F200 commercial van.

“We are designing such a version. 12 seats or can be made into a motorhome. Hybrid available. The ceiling height is 220 cm,” the Russo-Balt press service told Motor magazine.

Access to the car interior with several rows of seats is provided thanks to the side sliding door. By analogy with the Nizhny Novgorod Gazelle, this solution was chosen for the convenience of boarding and disembarking passengers.

The passenger version will complement the brand’s launch line-up along with the F200 van and the upcoming SUV. All three models will be produced to order.

Before this, it became known that the passenger version of the Russo-Balt F200 electric van will appear in 2027. According to brand representatives, the official debut of the 12-seater minibus will take place in the second half of next year.

In January 2026, the Russo-Balt company from Perm introduced an electric van called F200. The model stands out with its futuristic design, reminiscent of the Tesla Cybertruck.

The dimensions of the basic version are 5950 mm in length, 2000 mm in width and 2550 mm in height. Thanks to the high roof, the driver and passengers can stand upright inside the car, the company assures.

The van is equipped with a 200 hp electric motor. and a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 115 kWh, which, according to the company, should be enough for 400 km of range. The body is made of unpainted stainless steel. The lifting capacity of the machine is 1 ton.

The starting price of the new product is from 6.5 million rubles. The first copies of the cargo van are promised to be delivered to customers in January 2027.

It is worth recalling that the original cars under the Russo-Balt brand were produced in the Russian Empire from 1909 to 1918. During this time, several hundred cars were assembled.
