Judging by the image obtained by Motor magazine, the interior of the new Russo-Balt F200 van is made in a Spartan style: minimal decor, simple panels, no frills. The creators of the car relied on utilitarianism and reliability, rather than on comfort and design.
The front panel and pillars are finished with a material similar to carpet, which should reduce noise levels in the cabin. In front of the driver is a digital instrument panel, and to the right of it is a large monitor for the multimedia system with navigation.
The steering wheel is as simple as possible, three-spoke, without any buttons or paddle shifters.
“We continue to test new electronic units and calibrate electronic speed/consumption/odometer meters. We are testing cabin noise insulation, power windows, windshield wipers, navigation,” the company noted.
In January 2026, the Perm company Russo-Balt introduced an electric van called F200. The first cargo versions are promised to be delivered to customers in January 2027, and a passenger 12-seater modification (minibus) will appear later – its official debut is scheduled for the second half of 2027.
The dimensions of the base model are 5950 mm in length, 2000 mm in width and 2550 mm in height. Thanks to the high roof, as the company claims, you can stand upright inside.
The body is made of unpainted stainless steel, and the design is futuristic, reminiscent of the Tesla Cybertruck. The van is equipped with a 200 hp electric motor. and a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 115 kWh, which, according to the manufacturer, should be enough for 400 km.
The vehicle’s carrying capacity is 1 ton, the starting price of a cargo van is from 6.5 million rubles.
The original cars under the Russo-Balt brand were produced in the Russian Empire from 1909 to 1918; in total, several hundred cars were assembled.
