The Russo-Balt electric van was called the ideal car for girls

The developers of the electric vehicle announced the start of full-fledged sea trials at the test site. As soon as weather conditions permitted, engineers began a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle.

“Finally, the test site has thawed out and we are starting full-fledged tests of the F200. We check the operation of the suspension, electronic components, load on the electric motor, body rigidity, acceleration, braking, roll in corners, etc. Even girls can drive the F200! For most parameters, the results were better than calculated! We are fixing the shortcomings and are already improving the performance characteristics in the next version of the body,” the press service of Russo-Balt reported.

The developers continue to actively work on certification of the model. Obtaining Vehicle Type Approval (VTA) is scheduled for the end of 2026.

Next week, experts will begin testing load capacity and assessing energy consumption when the vehicle is fully loaded.

At the beginning of 2026, Russo-Balt announced the first model of the brand – the F200 electric van. The car is planned to be produced to order. Its starting price will be 6.5 million rubles, and the first deliveries to customers are scheduled for January 2027.

The model is equipped with a 200 hp electric motor. The motor receives energy from a traction battery with a capacity of 115 kWh. The manufacturer promises that the van will be able to travel up to 400 km on one charge, making the vehicle suitable for use both in megacities and on suburban routes.

The warranty on the van will be 200 thousand kilometers or 3 years, on the battery – 5 years without mileage limitation, and on the stainless steel body – 100 years against through corrosion.

Earlier, Russo-Balt spoke about the transmission of the new crossover.
