An application for a patent for the Russo-Balt F200 electric van has appeared in the open database of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS). Motor magazine drew attention to the appearance of the corresponding entry. Thus, the company has registered intellectual rights to the appearance of the future electric car.
The Russo-Balt F200 electric van is planned to be produced according to the orders of specific customers. The starting price was previously announced – 6.5 million rubles.
Certification procedures for the model are ongoing. The van has a load capacity of 1000 kg and a category B driver’s license is sufficient to drive it. The body is manufactured using manual welding.
Cars under the Russo-Balt brand were produced from 1909 to 1918. The total production amounted to several hundred cars.
Judging by the image obtained by Motor magazine, the interior of the new Russo-Balt F200 van is made in a Spartan style: minimal decor, simple panels, no frills.
