The company CHECHI tested the Tiggo 4 model -one of the most affordable crossovers in the brand line in Russia -in the MOHE, the northernmost region of China, where the air temperature drops below -50 degrees Celsius. The engineers had the task of testing the safety of driving, cold starting and operating the car brake system.
Tiggo 4, equipped with a one and a half liter turbo engine, took part in the winter tests. At a low temperature overboard, which dropped to 37 degrees below zero, the engine was launched instantly. The technology of valve progress contributes to the rapid and stable operation of the internal combustion engine, which provides optimal mixing of air and fuel and their effective combustion, turning into 108 kW of power and 210 nm of torque.
Chery
The heating system warms up the crossover interior from -20 to +20 degrees in 20 minutes. In total, Tiggo 4 has seven heating modules, including heating of the windshield and external rear -view mirrors, due to which ice is eliminated.
As for the brake system, the Tiggo 4 wheels and pads provide force, reducing the braking distance to 41.6 meters at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour. The reaction time of the system is less than 0.05 seconds.
The new Chery Tiggo 4 reached the car dealerships of the hybrid Chery Tiggo 4.
The crossover is equipped with auxiliary systems, including the emergency braking and braking system for multiple collisions. For example, if a walking car is sharply inhibited in front or a pedestrian appears in the way, Tiggo 4 sensors are triggered by milliseconds, preventing possible clashes. The maximum clutch with the road is provided by the BAS braking system and the ESP course stability system: the first increases the brake force on the ice, and the second controls the braking to restore the clutch with the surface.
The CHECH TIGGO 4 entered the Russian market last fall, and so far is sold in parallel with Tiggo 4 Pro. As of the end of January, the model costs in Russia from 2,380,000 to 2,680,000 excluding discounts.
