Analysts attribute Subaru’s success to the brand’s conservative approach to the introduction of new technologies. Unlike competitors, Subaru cars are equipped with fewer different systems, which has a positive effect on their reliability.
The top six of the ranking included exclusively Japanese brands: Subaru was followed by Lexus (65 points), Toyota (62 points), Honda (59 points), Acura and Mazda (55 points each). The bottom lines of the ranking were occupied by Tesla, Volkswagen, Jeep, GMC, Cadillac and the startup Rivian.
