Most Russians are not going to buy a new car this year, showed a survey conducted jointly by Avtostat and Auto Mail.ru. More than five thousand car owners took part in the online survey. Almost every second of the respondents said that when choosing a new car, only those that are sold on the Russian market will officially consider. This option was chosen by 48.9 percent of the respondents.
Almost every fourth participant in the survey (24.2 percent) will wait for the return of the departed brands to Russia – Western, Japanese and Korean. Every sixth (16.6 percent) do not see problems in the purchase of cars supplied according to the parallel import scheme.
