The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant spoke about the fate of the Bukhanka van and the Patriot SUV ”

The plans for the modification of cars were announced by the head of the enterprise Alexei Spirin. According to the top manager, the UAZ SGR family is one of the oldest. “Bukhans” are produced at the conveyors of the plant for 67 years. At the same time, models remain in demand in many areas of business. As for the Patriot, for the SUV, they prepared a new bunch of power unit and transmission.

Spirin said that after almost seven decades, the Bukhanka is still in steady demand. The SGR family is in demand in agriculture, oil and gas production, as well as in various utilities and service services. In addition, the demand for vans remains high in regions with bad roads. At the same time, the simple design of the machines makes them repaired even in the field. Given the listed factors, the leadership of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant is not going to withdraw from the production of “loaf”.

The head of the UAZ emphasized that the car factory is undergoing a transformation to the industrial site for the production of frame cars. At the same time, experts do not forget about the development of current models. For example, in the fourth quarter of this year, the Patriot SUV will receive a bunch of two -liter turbodiesel and six -speed “mechanics”. Employees of the enterprise will engage in the issue of equipping a car with automatic transmission only next year.

In early February, the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant told why Patriot and Bukhanka will be less subject to corrosion. Specialists published a video showing the work of mechanisms in a paint chamber.
