The AGR Automobile Plant – the former Hend Motor Manufactoring Rus is currently working under this name – from January to March, he produced 8740 Solaris cars. Over the same period, 5400 cars were sold, and the number of registrations amounted to 4013 pieces. The model line, as well as at the stage of restarting the plant, has four models: these are Solaris HS (Hyundai Solaris), Slaris HC (Hyundai Creta) crossover, Solaris KRS (Kia Rio) sedan and Solaris KRX Cross (Kia Rio X).
The general director of the AGR Automobile Plant Alexei Kalitsev said that despite the significant reduction in the Russian automobile market in the first quarter of 2025, the results of sales of the Solaris brand “look very worthy”. “We were able not only to consolidate our positions, but to realize our promises to expand the market share, taking two percent based on the results of Marta and entering the top 10 marks in March,” he added.
From April 1, the plant increased the pace of production: 240 cars are leaving daily from the conveyor instead of the previous two hundred.

Previously, the financial statements of the AGR Automobile Plant were published, according to which the revenue of the enterprise for 2024 amounted to 29.4 billion rubles, and net profit – 1.9 billion. These indicators are lower than before its start and the departure of Hyundai-Kia. So, for example, in 2021 the revenue of the plant amounted to 206.9 billion rubles, net profit – 11.2 billion.
Earlier it was reported that in the meantime, the Korean media write that Hyundai and Kia intend to return to the Russian market. The concern allegedly “studies the possibilities of restarting business against the backdrop of a new thaw in relations between Russia and the USA”, but the final decision has not yet been made.
