The Fulwin A8L made a mark even before the start of sales: the mid-size sedan, equipped with a gas-electric power plant, covered 2,369.9 kilometers on one tank and without recharging. Chery announced this during an event dedicated to the launch of the model on the Chinese market. The Chinese are offered a choice of five trim levels, which cost from 109.9 to 149.9 thousand yuan (1.57-2.15 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
In terms of range, the Fulwin A8L hybrid “traveled” the D7 DMH of the SAIC concern – its result was 2208 kilometers without refueling and recharging with an average fuel consumption of 2.49 liters per 100 kilometers. This record was included in the Guinness Book of Records just two months ago.

The A8L is driven by a hybrid installation, which includes a one and a half liter naturally aspirated internal combustion engine and an electric motor on the front axle – in total they develop 306 horsepower (225 kilowatts). The entry-level modification is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 9.53 kilowatt-hours – such a sedan can travel up to 70 kilometers on pure electricity. However, the record was set by a more expensive version of the model, equipped with a 1.5 turbocharged internal combustion engine and an electric motor with a total output of 360 horsepower. It has an 18.67-kilowatt battery and an electric range of up to 145 kilometers.

In addition to the L version, the Fulwin A8 family includes the regular sedan and the A8 Voyage Edition. A special feature of the version with the L prefix is a different radiator grille, and two separate screens with a diagonal of 10.25 and 15.6 inches are installed in the cabin.
Depending on the A8L configuration, it comes with electrically adjustable seats, heated and ventilated seats, 50-kilowatt wireless charging for smartphones, a Sony audio system with eight speakers, up to 10 airbags and a set of driving assistants. The declared level of autonomy is L2+.
