Topspeed lists the best and worst Audi models according to real owners

Data is based on reviews from real Audi owners published on the Kelley Blue Book (KBB) platform. In total, several hundred ratings on a 5-point scale for 10 modern models were analyzed, Topspeed reports.

The leader of the rating with a score of 4.9 out of 5 was the 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron, an updated version of the electric car that received perfect scores for quality and comfort, with 95% of owners recommending this model.

Second place with the same score of 4.9 points went to the 2022 Audi e-tron, which is valued for “the feeling of a real car, not just a gadget,” although its main drawback is its short range of about 320-350 km.

Next up is the 2024 Audi A4 with a 4.4 score and an 88% recommendation: Owners praise handling and economy, but some complain about straight-line pull on concrete roads that dealers can’t fix.

The 2024 Audi SQ5 scored the same score (4.4), which is called “the best SUV ever bought” for its balance of performance and comfort, although it is expensive to maintain.

Two models received a rating of 4.3: the 2024 Audi A6 (80% of recommendations) is praised for acceleration and silence, but criticized for touch screens and a small armrest, and the 2025 Audi Q7 (also 80%) is liked for its handling and power, but is criticized for its expensive maintenance and function failures in the cold.

With a score of 4.2 and a 75% recommendation is the 2024 Audi Q5, which is valued for its quietness and quality of finish, but is called a “money pit” due to problems with the engines and transfer case.

Three models showed the worst results. With a score of 4.0 and just 68% of recommendations, the 2025 Audi Q8 is praised for its styling and agility, but criticized for alternator failure and poor handling.

The 2025 Audi A4 Allroad with 4.0 points and 70% of recommendations is liked for its style and comfort on bad roads, but is irritated by slow multimedia and rough operation of the start-stop system.

The outsider was the 2025 Audi Q3 with 3.8 points and 68% recommendations: owners complain about fluid leaks from the transmission and hatch, as well as a lack of response from Audi support.

The main conclusion of the study: high satisfaction scores do not mean the absence of problems – the high cost of service after the end of the warranty and reliability failures remain key pain points for many Audi models.

Previously, the most popular cheap foreign cars for import from China to Russia were named.
