WhatCar has compiled a list of 8 Audi cars that never break down

The British publication WhatCar and the insurance company MotorEasy, based on a survey of several thousand car owners, compiled a reliability rating for used Audi cars. The final list includes 8 models that demonstrate the least number of breakdowns.

The compact crossover Audi Q2, which has been produced since 2016, topped the rating. Experts rated its reliability at 98.5% – only every tenth owner has encountered malfunctions over the past two years. The main problems arose with the engine, but all repairs were carried out free of charge for the owners.

Silver went to the Audi A1 hatchback (from 2018) with a score of 97.5%. 20% of respondents reported breakdowns, with the electronics, exhaust system and transmission most often affected. Three quarters of the cars were repaired within 24 hours, and all costs were borne by the manufacturer.

The third place was taken by the Audi TT coupe (2014−2024) with a reliability of 96.1%. Malfunctions occurred in 20% of cars – mainly the air conditioning, engine and exhaust system failed. In 80% of cases, the repairs were paid for by the company; for the remaining 20% ​​of owners, fixing the problems cost no more than £50.

The remaining five places were distributed as follows: Audi A3 (from 2020) – 93%, Audi Q3 (2018-2025) – 92.8%, Audi Q4 e-tron (from 2021) – 90.4%, Audi A6 (2018-2025) – 90.2% and Audi A4 (2015-2024) – 90.1%.
