Toyota and Mazda have improved their positions in the Russian market

Experts from the AUTOSTAT agency summed up the results of the fourth week of 2026. Analysts note a significant increase in sales of Japanese cars of two brands. What is causing the rush demand is not specified.

Toyota and Mazda, having sold 555 and 541 cars, respectively, took fifth and sixth place in the brand rating. A week earlier, the firms occupied sixth and ninth positions.

Earlier it became known that imports of new Toyota cars in Russia increased by 40%. Half were imported in transit through Kyrgyzstan due to more favorable customs clearance, and a third of the cars came from China.
